Hi everybody,

My name is Maarten Eekels and I am CTO at Portiva, one of the larger SharePoint and Office 365 implementation partners in the Netherlands. In that role I am responsible for all knowledge and technology related matters.

I am an experienced all-round Office 365 specialist who likes a challenge and who is perfectly capable of translating the business needs of the customer into technical solutions. I have extended experience in the setup and implementation of Office 365 environments and SharePoint portals. Already since version 2003 I am involved in implementing SharePoint in areas like web content management, document management, knowledge management, business process support, business intelligence and search.

I am a regular speaker on both national and international events, like conferences, SharePoint Saturdays, and user group meetings. In September 2015 I started a video blog series called Maarten’s Cloud Journaal, specifically targeted at Dutch speaking Office 365 users.

On April 1st, 2016 I was presented with the Microsoft MVP Award for Office Servers and Services.
